Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $82,000.00/yr Target salary = $65-82k The Cost Accountant will analyze production costs, compare estimates to actuals, and support budgeting and reporting for a precision manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining accurate cost data, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and profitability. Key Responsibilities Gather, compile, and analyze cost and expense data across departments Prepare cost and margin reports; support monthly and year-end closings Review variances between standard and actual costs to identify inaccuracies Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and recommending cost-saving actions Qualifications Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business 2+ years in cost accounting, ideally in manufacturing; strong Excel and ERP experience.
