SERVICE TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment. Location & Schedule Canteen – 1075 East Highway 80, Abilene, TX 79601. Full‑time schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Pay & Benefits Fixed pay: $20.00 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus available. Paid and/or unpaid time off in accordance with applicable laws. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company‑owned vehicle. Call customers to determine adequacy of service and resolve complaints. Visually inspect machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to access problem area. Inspect parts for wear or misalignment, remove and replace defective parts, repair broken parts, realign and adjust components, test machine operation. Review inventory and order parts; handle shipping and receiving of machines; maintain equipment inventory. Prepare machines for installation; assist in installations and removals. Set up and operate mechanical equipment and hand tools (drills, grinders, welding torches) for machine repair. Perform other duties as assigned.
