Primary Function: To participate in activities with children which are designed to enhance their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.

The Oxford Early Learning Center is looking for a Preschool Teacher to join our team. At OELC you'll find a dynamic environment that is inclusive and collaborative. Qualifications - Education & Experience:

• Child Development Associate credential or higher, required.
• Experience or desire to work with preschool age children.
• Knowledge of HighScope curriculum preferred.
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with students, parents, and staff.
• Knowledge of basic physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan daily activities.
• Responsible for the safety of children.
• Follow childcare licensing guidelines.
• Conduct activities that contribute to the care, growth, and development of children.
• Greet parents, offering positive feedback about children when appropriate.
• Maintain regular and predictable in-person attendance.
• Support the OCS vision and mission.
• Other duties as assigned.

Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $17.67 - $19.87 per hour based on education and the 2026-27 OELC Salary Schedule
