What We’re Looking For:

• Previous paraprofessional or instructional aide experience preferred
• Experience working with children and/or young adults in special education settings, including autism, life skills, and behavioral classrooms
• Patience, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Desire to help students achieve their potential through encouragement and support

Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting lead teachers with classroom management and instruction
• Assisting students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce lessons
• Aiding students in mastering academic and life skills
• Encouraging positive behavior and emotional regulation
• Collaborating with teachers and related service providers to ensure student progress
• Fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment
