Program Manager 1 - Continuum of Care Manager

Continuum of Care (CoC) Manager - Program Manager 1 Primary responsibility is providing overall administrative support and coordination of program activities, including various committees, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to manage distribution of federal funds granted by HUD. The manager oversees the entire Continuum process, leads or hosts community meetings and processes such as CoC General Membership, Point In Time count, Consumer Advisory Board, Homelessness Planning Council, and all other monthly meetings. Agency Mandate The Office of Homeless Services (OHS) serves as the Nashville-Davidson County Lead for planning and coordination to build a Housing Crisis Resolution System. This role seeks to obtain and maintain resources necessary for our mission and help develop community resources for an effective Housing Crisis Resolution System. Responsibilities Provides overall administrative support for the Continuum of Care by representing organizations on various work committees and partnering with community partners. Manages the information flow for committees, including stakeholder engagement before, during, and after meetings, and ensuring agendas, minutes, attendance, committee chair tasks are documented, posted, and distributed. Works with Committee Chairs to formulate objectives, timelines, and communications of tasks to members and holds committees accountable to those objectives. Tracks each committee’s membership, work plan, objectives, follow-ups, and action items. Provides general program support and coordination, including assisting with event planning and coordination, and the Volunteer Outreach Group. Researches regional and national best practices for Continuum of Care management and operational efficiency by reviewing and analyzing proposed initiatives, projects, and outreach efforts. Responds promptly to all incoming communications and requests for information to advance effectiveness of all current Continuum of Care initiatives and outcomes. Maintains, updates, and creates communications on Constant Contacts and shares pertinent information regularly with the OHS team, Community, and Homelessness Planning Council. Education and Experience Master's Degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of supervisory and/or administrative experience. OR Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and four (4) years of supervisory and/or administrative experience. Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply. Minimum Qualifications Experience working with HUD funding streams, and/or existing Continuum of Care issues. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with homeless programs and systems; program evaluation and outcome measurement.
