Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in critical situations and requires strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.Position DetailsShift: 7 PM to 7 AMContract Duration: 13 weeks36-hour guaranteeQualificationsCurrent New York State RN License is required.BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are mandatory.Experience with MEDITECH is required.Travel experience is necessary.Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.Critical Care and charge experience are preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and intervene in life-threatening situations effectively.Assess and address patients' clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs.Recognize safety issues for self and others, implementing safe patient lifting methods.Function well under stress while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.Exhibit excellent leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse when needed.Skills RequiredExcellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).Must pass a lethal dysrhythmia exam during the probationary period and become defibrillation certified within six months of employment.Certification in IV therapy, medication administration, and phlebotomy must be completed during orientation.If you are a passionate and skilled nurse looking to make a difference in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.Client Details City Watertown State NY
