What You'll Do Operate a Yard Goat/Yard Hostler with an automatic transmission Move containers and 53 trailers within the yard No touch freight No unloading Move trailers/containers between the dock door and yard locations Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Exit the yard mule and chock rear trailer wheels during loading operations Verify trailers are clear before moving equipment Move approximately 30-50 trailers/containers per shift Pulling containers from dock doors, relocating trailers within the yard, frequent backing, and following all customer safety procedures Must be comfortable using onboard computer systems and working independently in a busy yard environment Driving Requirements 22+ years of age Valid license DOT Medical Card FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR 1 year of yard hostling experience (within the past 3 years) No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years) No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years) Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) plan and more Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Holiday Pay is provided for eligible Drivers Weekly Pay Staffmark Perkspot - discounts on almost anything you want to buy About Us At Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
