Senior Risk Analyst-CBRNE

What You Will Do Conduct risk assessments using established and emerging methodologies to evaluate threats posed by weapons of mass destruction. Develop, document, and refine analytical methodologies while recommending process improvements that strengthen risk assessment capabilities. Conduct background research and due diligence using open-source and classified information. Prepare comprehensive risk assessment reports and analytical products. Coordinate the review, quality assurance, and distribution of risk analysis products. Develop standard operating procedures, case summaries, talking points, action memoranda, and other written products supporting CBRNE leadership. Collaborate with government stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to support mission objectives. Present analytical findings and recommendations to support informed decision-making. What We Are Looking For Required Bachelor's degree. 5-7 years of relevant experience in risk analysis, intelligence analysis, national security, or a related field. Experience developing analytical methodologies and conducting assessments that communicate and mitigate risk. Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality analytical products. Ability to work effectively within collaborative, multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Experience supporting the DHS Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Office, Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), or other Department of Homeland Security organizations. Experience using Tableau or similar data visualization tools. Experience working with classified information and intelligence-based analytical products. Familiarity with CBRNE threat analysis, homeland security, or national security risk assessment. Clearance and Eligibility Active Top Secret security clearance required. This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)). Location Currently requires onsite support a minimum of two days per pay period (every two weeks) at the DHS Policy Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives (CBRNE) office located on the St. Elizabeths Campus in Washington, DC.
