Operations Supervisor – Control Room Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Operations Supervisor – Control Room Operator to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for monitoring incoming calls, enforcing safety and security procedures, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring smooth operations of the control room.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce all safety rules and immediately address any safety infractions.
• Monitor direct connect and telephone transmissions to ensure quick response to incoming calls.
• Respond promptly to calls from the Maintenance Department regarding hazards, unusual occurrences, or requests for assistance.
• Accurately complete required operations paperwork and documentation.
• Contact and coordinate replacement personnel during unscheduled absences.
• Answer and log telephone calls, accurately recording significant events.
• Ensure compliance with facility security procedures, including access control and fund management.
• Coordinate admin department requests with appropriate personnel.
• Confirm safety barrels and cones are properly positioned for traffic flow and site safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Open availability to work alternate shifts when needed

Schedule

• Primary Shift:
  • Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Monday–Thursday: 4:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Flexibility:
  • Must have open availability to fill in on other shifts when needed
