Are you an experienced Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, or Strength & Conditioning Coach ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for an exceptional fitness professional who loves coaching and is ready to lead and develop a team of coaches.

As Head Coach, your primary responsibility is doing what you do best — coaching. You'll lead a significant portion of our studio's classes, build relationships with members, and set the standard for what great coaching looks like.

Beyond the mic, you'll mentor and develop our coaching team, provide constructive feedback, and hold coaches accountable to high standards. We're looking for someone who can lead by example in the studio and bring out the best in the coaches around them.

What You'll Do

Deliver an Exceptional Coaching Experience

• Lead high-energy, engaging Orangetheory workouts that motivate and inspire members

• Demonstrate excellent coaching presence, clear communication, and the ability to command a room

• Provide individualized coaching, form corrections, and modifications to help members achieve their goals

• Build meaningful relationships with members and create a welcoming, motivating environment

• Set the standard for coaching excellence through your own performance

Lead and Develop Your Coaching Team

• Mentor and develop coaches through regular feedback, observation, and coaching

• Hold the coaching team accountable to Orangetheory's coaching standards and expectations

• Recognize strong performance and address areas needing improvement

• Have direct, constructive conversations when performance or professionalism falls short

• Help onboard and train new coaches while fostering a positive, collaborative team culture

Support Studio Success

• Partner with studio leadership to drive member engagement, retention, and overall studio performance

• Maintain a strong understanding of Orangetheory's science-backed, heart-rate-based training methodology

• Ensure a consistent, high-quality member experience across the coaching team

• Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, and a team-first attitude

Requirements

• Previous professional experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, strength and conditioning, or athletic coaching required
  
  
• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an Orangetheory-approved organization, or be willing and eligible to obtain one before coaching classes

• Maintain current AED/CPR certification

• Strong understanding of exercise technique, proper form, and workout programming

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and engage individuals and groups

• Confidence in providing constructive feedback and holding others accountable

• A passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals

• Previous team leadership or coaching mentorship experience preferred, but not required
