A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING . .

Participates in product production and presentation in the Fresh Prep area Ensures all product quality, packaging and presentation are met Washes, peels, mixes, cuts, packages and labels produce items to standards and spec set by Town & Country Markets Rotates and fills display cases Provides excellent/professional customer service Operates all equipment in accordance with operating standards Adheres to all company policies Adheres to all food safety/HACCP/sanitation requirements Adheres to proper waste management and recycling procedures Maintains department cleanliness, product freshness, & variety Maintains retail price, integrity, and accuracy May be required to participate and work in the core Produce Department as needed Other duties as needed or required

THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF . .

Produce/Food Service experience preferred Proven ability to perform excellent, professional customer service Must have strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking skills Ability to operate all equipment required Flexibility to work mornings/afternoons/evenings/weekends/holidays Exemplifies health department standards Ability to work with a diverse group of customers and employees Must possess a strong desire to work hard, be enthusiastic, participate in achieving management goals, and be a team player Ability to multitask as needed Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age Ability to have full body mobility (Standing, bending, stooping, twisting, & reaching) Ability to work in a temperature controlled environment Entry Level Compensation USD $18.40/Hr.
