Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,993 per week

Job Description TNAA TotalMed Allied is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist in Columbus, Ohio. The position starts on 08/10/2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 40 hours per week with 10‑hour day shifts in a travel arrangement. Responsibilities As an IR Tech you will operate fluoroscopic equipment, assist physicians during minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures, prepare and observe patients, and report abnormal findings. Tasks Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients providing reassurance and support. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patients during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards and techniques to safeguard patient and operator exposure. Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification; state‑specific licensing required when applicable. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Compensation Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts at a 40‑hour per week schedule.
