This hybrid role requires an independent contributor who will be responsible for the design, development, and support of enterprise analytics and business intelligence solutions.This position plays an integral part in developing and supporting analytics platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Alteryx, and SSIS. Successful candidates will have the ability to leverage strong SQL skills to deliver trusted, governed, and scalable data solutions. Youll work closely with business users to translate requirements into actionable insights while ensuring data quality, performance, and compliance.Local candidates only; no relocation or visa sponsorship is available. This is a hybrid position requiring regular and as-needed onsite work in Studio City, CA.MPI requires employees to be vaccinated against Covid-19 with exceptions as required by law.Qualified candidates, please submit your current resume with a cover letter and your compensation requirements for consideration.Submissions will be reviewed; only candidates most closely matching the requirements of the position will be contacted.What You Will Need:7+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer or Data AnalystBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Strong experience in building and maintaining data pipelines using MS Fabric, model and transform data using Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse.Experience in documenting data models, reports, pipeline logic, and understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.Strong experience with Power BI, including data preparation, data modeling, DAX, and report optimization, with the ability to develop and maintain paginated reports using Power BI report Builder for operational and detailed reporting needs.Strong Alteryx experience, including workflow development, optimization, and operational supportProficiency in maintaining and supporting SSIS packages is requiredExperience administering and supporting Alteryx Server, including upgrades, MongoDB backups, and issue resolutionAdvanced-level Microsoft Excel skills for analyzing datasets and identifying trends or inconsistenciesExperience providing production support for BI and analytics solutionsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization.Excellent attendance and reliability, with the ability to work extended hours as needed.Ability to accept direction and developmental guidance from supervisor.Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, healthcare, and financial services preferred.Experience supporting self-service BI and governed analytics environments and a familiarity with modern data governance/compliance preferred.What Youll Do:Design, develop, and deliver interactive Power BI datasets, dashboards, reports, and stories that are easily understoodBuild, deploy, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS, Alteryx, and Microsoft FabricDesign, create, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored proceduresDesign, develop, deploy, and manage Alteryx workflows and analytic applicationsProvide daily operational and production support for Power BI, Alteryx, and other BI solutions, including dashboards and reportsEnsure data quality, reliability, performance, and scalability across analytics solutionsApply data governance, lineage, sensitivity labeling, and compliance standards using Microsoft PurviewEnsure regulatory compliance (HIPAA and other applicable regulations) in all aspects of data utilization and accessCollaborate with business users and IT partners to translate requirements into effective analytics solutionsCommunicate professionally with technical and non-technical audiences through written, verbal, and formal presentations.Participate in design and peer reviews within the departmentStay current with BI and data analytics trends, tools, and best practicesCompensation & Benefits:The anticipated base salary for this position is $125,000 - $145,000 annually.
