This role involves working with fresh cardiac surgery patients in a modern, high-tech environment with a primary nursing model. Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• Provide direct primary recovery care for fresh cardiac surgery patients
• Manage 1:1 patient ratios immediately post-surgery
• Transition to 1:2 patient ratios from post-op day 1-3

Requirements of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• 1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients
• ACLS certification
• Training in balloon pump, impella devices, and hemosphere or acumen
