MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Randstad is currenlty working with Food & Beverage Manufacturing company in Dixon, IL that is hiring Maintenance Technicians at their facility.  This is a Full-Time Permanent position with our client.   Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 - 5 years of experience of performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing or food manufacturing environment. 
• Experience working with pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical equipment. 
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Good attendance and work history
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

salary: $66,500 - $67,100 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and facility systems.
• Install, set up, and maintain equipment following blueprints, sketches, verbal instructions, or written work orders with minimal supervision.
• Operate and maintain machine shop equipment; perform welding, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and pump repairs as needed.
• Respond efficiently and calmly to emergency downtime situations to minimize production delays.
• Follow and comply with all lockout/tagout procedures and safety regulations
• Maintain legible and accurate maintenance records.
