Position Overview

Bark Suds is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Inside & Outside Sales Representative to grow our dog grooming membership program. This is a commission-only position ideal for individuals who enjoy networking, building relationships, and generating their own opportunities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating leads, educating pet owners about the benefits of our membership program, and converting prospects into paying members. This role requires a proactive approach to sales and community outreach.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation

• Generate your own sales leads through community outreach and networking.
• Visit local businesses, apartment communities, pet-friendly establishments, veterinary clinics, dog parks, pet stores, and community events.
• Conduct door-to-door marketing in targeted neighborhoods.
• Engage with pet owners through local social media groups and online communities.
• Develop referral partnerships with local businesses and pet-related organizations.

Sales & Customer Acquisition

• Present and explain the benefits of Bark Suds grooming memberships to prospective customers.
• Follow up with leads via phone, text, email, and social media.
• Answer questions regarding membership services, pricing, and benefits.
• Convert prospects into active membership subscribers.
• Maintain accurate records of leads and sales activity.

Brand Representation

• Represent Bark Suds professionally at all times.
• Build positive relationships within the local pet community.
• Promote the company's services, values, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable approaching and speaking with strangers.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Reliable transportation for local travel and community outreach.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and community groups.
• Passion for dogs and the pet industry is a plus.

Compensation

Commission Only

This position is compensated solely through commissions. No hourly wage, salary, benefits, or guaranteed compensation is provided.

Commission Structure

• Earn commission on every new grooming membership sold and activated.
• Ongoing commission structure and payment schedule will be provided during the interview process.
• Unlimited earning potential based on individual performance.

Work Schedule

• Flexible schedule.
• Work independently and manage your own prospecting activities.
• Evening and weekend outreach opportunities may increase sales success.
