Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Occupational Medicine Physician, you will join Mercy Medical Group's robust multi-specialty group in the Sacramento, CA region. This full-time opportunity offers a shareholder track, generous compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package, including a bonus. You will be instrumental in providing evidence-based medical treatment for work-related injuries and a wide array of occupational health services, contributing to our reputation as a "Preferred Provider" for worker compensation insurance carriers in Northern California. Every day you willtreat diverse work-related injuries, including lacerations, strains, fractures, and acute eye injuries, ensuring timely and effective care for prompt return to work and case closure. Beyond injury treatment, you will conduct essential occupational health services such aspre-employment physical examinations, DOT and Hazmat physicals, and provide physician-certified MRO services for employment drug testing. Furthermore, you will offer expert recommendations on ergonomics and chemical exposures, contributing to a safe and healthy work environment for various employers. To be successful in this role, you willpossess a strong background inOccupational Medicine, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and managing work-related injuries and illnesses.
