Responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors to the residence and directing them to the appropriate person/area. Directs all incoming phone calls to the appropriate party and performs other clerical duties such as filing, typing, mail sorting, etc.Education/Experience: Knowledge of basic telephone reception systems and techniques helpful. Possesses the ability to handle all incoming phone calls and visitors in a pleasant and courteous manner, provide clerical support and represent the residence in a professional manner is required. The ability to respond calmly to emergency situations is essential. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.Job DescriptionFront Desk ResponsibilitiesHandles all incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner directing to the appropriate person/departmentGreets guests and visitors in a professional and courteous manner and directs guests and visitors to the appropriate person/departmentCoordinates front desk activitiesCommunicates with co-workers verbally, through the communication log book, and emailAbility to respond calmly in emergency situationsResponds to resident requests in a kind and courteous mannerSorts mail as needed and directs all mail forwarding to appropriate addressSupports The Herrick House Executive Director and management team as directedCompletes new resident welcome packetsAssists the Director of Business Services with special projects as assignedFiling ResponsibilitiesFiles all check requests and vendor invoicesConducts periodic review of vendor files ensuring invoices are being filed in correct folders as directedFiles appropriate documentation in order in each of the residents' financial foldersConducts periodic reviews of the residents' financial files ensuring all documentation is being filed in the correct areas as directedCash Deposits/ReceiptsMonitors petty cash balance held at reception deskMaintains and posts guest meal ticketsTakes direction from Director of Business Services in completing the process of cash depositsPay Range: $15.00 - $20.25The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
