RN Vaccinator
SGS Consulting
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer vaccines
- Screen patients for contraindications and health history before immunization.
- Educate patients on vaccine benefits, risks, and expected side effects.
- Monitor patients post-vaccination for immediate adverse reactions or anaphylaxis.
- Document administration accurately in electronic health records (HER EPIC) and registry databases.
- Maintain cold chain storage requirements for vaccine temperature stability
Skills:
- RN Vaccinator
- Administer vaccines
Education/Experience:
- Active RN License in the state of practice required.
- BLS/CPR Certification (Basic Life Support) required.
- Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience: 2 Year
