About the Position

Job Opportunity – PACU Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Unit operates with call coverage on holidays.

• Ground floor Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) serving high-acuity surgical patients
• Diverse case mix including Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery
• EMR system: Cerner
• Supportive leadership structure with dedicated Charge Nurse and Supervisor oversight
• Holiday requirements: 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or ability to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience required
• Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to manage high-acuity post-surgical patients across multiple specialties
