Project Manager We are seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager to support new product development programs within a fast-growing engineering organization. This position will play a critical role coordinating cross-functional teams, managing program schedules, tracking engineering deliverables, and ensuring successful execution of complex capital equipment projects. The ideal candidate has experience working with engineering-driven products, change management processes, BOMs, and cross-functional project coordination within a manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial equipment, or high-tech environment. Location: Plainview, NY Employment Type: Contract (8 Months) Industry: Semiconductor Capital Equipment / Advanced Manufacturing Key Responsibilities + Program & Project Management + Support new product development programs involving multiple engineering disciplines. + Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items. + Track project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership. + Support the full product lifecycle from concept through production release. + Assist with engineering program budgeting and cost tracking. + Cross-Functional Coordination + Serve as a key interface between: + Engineering + Marketing + Operations + Technology Teams + Executive Leadership + Coordinate communication between internal stakeholders and external partners. + Drive alignment across teams to ensure projects remain on schedule. + Resource & Change Management + Support engineering resource planning activities. + Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and project documentation updates. + Assist with Bill of Material (BOM) management and tracking. + Help identify project risks and develop mitigation plans. + Project Execution + Drive the development, execution, and completion of complex engineering projects. + Support procurement, manufacturing, and engineering activities throughout project execution. + Ensure project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined and achieved. Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field. + Experience managing or coordinating engineering or technical projects. + Strong project management and organizational skills. + Experience with: + Project scheduling + Change Orders / ECOs + BOM management + Cross-functional coordination + Status reporting and project tracking + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. + Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including: + Excel + PowerPoint + Project Preferred Qualifications + Experience with semiconductor equipment, capital equipment, industrial machinery, or automation systems. + Familiarity with electro-mechanical products including: + Motors + Vacuum pumps + Robotics + Heaters + PLC-controlled systems + Instrumentation + Experience with SAP, ERP, or MRP systems. + AutoCAD or SolidWorks exposure. + Knowledge of product development and engineering workflows. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Plainview, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
