Position: Detail Specialist

Location: New Braunfels, TX Manufacturing and Distribution Center (3567 N Interstate 35, New Braunfels, TX 78130)

Role Overview:

The Detail Specialist plays a critical role in the production of high-quality fiberglass pools and spas, ensuring each product is crafted to perfection. This hands-on position involves using hand tools and portable power tools to trim, grind, repair, and clean molded fiberglass products. Specialists maintain a focus on quality control by examining finishes, performing repairs, and smoothing surfaces to achieve flawless results. The role demands a commitment to safety, proper handling of hazardous chemicals, and maintaining a clean work environment while supporting team production goals.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Fiberglass Finishing Expertise : Proficiency in trimming and grinding rough fiberglass, making precise cuts and through holes for assembly installation, and smoothing surfaces to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Quality Control : Skilled in checking fiberglass thickness, examining finishes for defects, and performing repairs such as drilling, patching, repainting, and buffing ground-out areas.
• Tool Proficiency : Experienced in using hand tools and portable power tools with precision to ensure consistent, high-quality results.
• Safety and Cleanliness : Strong adherence to safe practices, including proper handling of hazardous chemicals, and maintaining a clean work area to support a safe production environment.
• Material Efficiency : Ability to assist in controlling material usage while ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
• Team-Oriented Mindset : Collaborative approach with flexibility to perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals and team objectives.
