About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Information Security to provide strategic leadership and oversight of its information security program. The successful candidate will be the senior-most authority on security risk, governance, and resilience, responsible for establishing and maintaining enterprise-wide security direction, policies, and safeguards in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory expectations. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily IT and security operations, developing and implementing security policies and governance frameworks, leading risk assessments and security audits, and presenting security reports and recommendations to executive leadership and the Board. The role also involves managing the IT and cybersecurity budget, ensuring business continuity, and fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement. Applicants for the Vice President of Information Security position at the company should have a Master’s degree (preferred) or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant professional certification, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 8-10 years' of related information security or cybersecurity experience. A background in the financial services industry is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk management principles, as well as proven leadership experience in managing teams and complex security operations. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership and Board members. Experience with security audits, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation is also required.
