Product Assembler

$18 - $19 per hour

PrideStaff

Our firm is representing a specialized manufacturing leader in Pasco County seeking a Product Assembler who is looking for more than just a job. We are looking for a reliable, growth-minded professional who wants to learn the inner workings of a successful business from the ground up.

This isn't just a role on a line-it's an entry point into a firm that rewards dedication. Beyond a stable first-shift schedule and full benefits, this position offers a Profit Share program, allowing you to directly benefit from the company's success as you go above and beyond.

Your Role & Growth Path

In this role, you will be the backbone of our production and fulfillment process. You will start with the fundamentals of our product-packaging, shipping, and box builds-while being mentored in technical assembly and safety testing. As you master these tasks, you will have the opportunity to take on more advanced responsibilities within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production & Fulfillment: Build product housing, construct specialized shipping boxes, and manage the final packaging of units.
  • Technical Assembly: Perform hands-on manufacturing tasks, including gluing plastic components and assembling mechanical "tops."
  • Safety & Reliability Testing: Conduct Hi-Pot (High Potential) testing to ensure every unit meets rigorous electrical safety standards.
  • Technical Programming: Program integrated circuits (ICs) using PC-based software to finalize technical builds.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Product Manager to verify that all outgoing products meet our "Gold Standard" for reliability.
What We're Looking For
  • Reliability: You take pride in being a "pro"-showing up on time, being consistent, and owning your workspace.
  • Growth Mindset: You aren't afraid to ask "why" and are eager to learn the broader business operations.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable using hand tools, micrometers, and basic PC programs.
  • Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination for handling small components and PCBs.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to remain stationary for periods and move/transport items (routinely under 10 lbs; occasionally over 10 lbs).
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Why Join Us?
  • Stability: Full-time, first-shift hours in a professional, respectful environment.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package included.
  • Incentives: Monthly Profit Sharing based on company success
  • Culture: A team-oriented atmosphere built on honesty, respect, and mutual success.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $19.00
