Job Summary Full‑time day‑shift Housekeeper role at Ocean Downs Casino. Responsibilities include maintaining public areas, cleaning duties, and supporting special event area setups. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Creates and ensures a fun‑filled, entertaining environment where flawless service excellence is paramount. Performs public service cleaning duties in all areas as assigned. Sweeps, mops, and disposes of trash. Sets up and removes special event signage and area closure stations. Promotes honesty and trust among the team. Promotes outstanding customer relations. Performs all other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Previous experience in cleaning of large public areas facility preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform necessary functions. Ability to consistently comprehend and execute written, verbal, and demonstrated directions. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co‑workers, and management. Must be able to obtain and keep a license issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees. Education and Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) lbs without difficulty, repeatedly. Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time without difficulty. Must be able to work flexible schedules due to business needs, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
