Focusing on delivering strategic legal services to Managed Services Organizations (MSOs) and physician practices, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Assistant General Counsel will manage significant legal projects, mentor legal professionals, and provide business-oriented legal counsel in a remote capacity. Key responsibilities Deliver effective legal services tailored to the unique regulatory and operational needs of MSOs and physician practices Manage and mentor legal professionals, fostering a collaborative environment focused on healthcare compliance and business strategy Handle significant legal projects and represent Cencora in major business contracts, leading negotiations that align legal and business interests Required qualifications A minimum of 10 years of legal experience with a strong emphasis on healthcare law, particularly related to MSOs and physician practices Law degree from an accredited institution and admission to the state bar Experience in negotiating and structuring contracts relevant to MSOs, including service agreements Comprehensive understanding of healthcare laws and regulations, including the Anti-Kickback statute and Stark law Proven experience in the healthcare sector, ideally with MSOs or physician practices, serving as a strategic partner to internal business clients
