Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day AP operations during a period of increased workload and system enhancements for a premier power distribution manufacturer in Streetsboro, OH. In this role, you will focus on processing invoices, supporting vendor payments, and managing AP workflows within Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and digital automation tools. This is an on-site, flexible part-time contract position (~30 hours per week). applicants with less than 6 months AP experience will not be considered. salary: $22 - $24 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Invoice Processing: Accurately process PO and non-PO vendor invoices, ensure proper GL coding, verify documentation, and resolve discrepancies. ERP & Systems Support: Assist with AP workflows within Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and paperless AP automation tools. Payment Runs: Support weekly payment runs, including ACH, check, and wire processing. Vendor Relations: Communicate with internal teams and external vendors to address invoice or payment inquiries efficiently. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate AP records, assist with reconciliations, and elevate coding or approval issues as needed.
