What You Will Do

• Build and evolve the core auction engine and bid management platform

• Design systems that allocate GPU capacity using real-time marketplace dynamics

• Own platform-level distributed systems and backend infrastructure

• Develop reservation management and capacity allocation services

• Design pricing and marketplace logic powering platform operations

• Improve platform reliability, resiliency, and scalability

• Solve concurrency, race condition, and distributed systems challenges

• Build and maintain backend APIs and platform services

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure

• Manage cloud infrastructure and platform operations

• Improve observability, monitoring, and operational tooling

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams across supply and consumption systems

• Participate in on-call rotations and production incident response

• Build automation and operational tooling to reduce engineering toil

• Ship features end-to-end from design through production deployment

• Drive technical decisions across platform initiatives

Ideal Candidate Background

• 3–8 years of software engineering experience

• Strong backend or platform engineering experience

• Experience building and operating distributed systems

• Experience maintaining production systems at scale

• Strong understanding of concurrency and asynchronous systems

• Experience solving race condition and reliability challenges

• Strong Python engineering experience

• Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases

• Experience working with cloud infrastructure

• Strong software engineering fundamentals

• Experience designing and shipping backend APIs

• Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work effectively in fast-moving startup environments

• Strong ownership mentality

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Comfortable participating in on-call rotations
