About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Business Development to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving referral growth, supporting business strategy, and developing both the sales and operations teams within their assigned area. This role is highly collaborative and hands-on, with a focus on leading the business development team and working closely with operations leaders to ensure market success. Key responsibilities include mentoring and empowering operational partners, supporting forecasting and strategic planning, and helping to translate strategy into action. The AVP will also be involved in cultivating key hospital relationships, evaluating market trends, and representing the company at relevant events. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of top-level sales experience, with a proven track record of developing, coaching, and managing a team. The role requires the ability to travel up to 75% of the time and a current driver's license with an acceptable MVR. The ideal candidate will have a background in private duty nursing, therapy, or home healthcare, and possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The AVP should be adept at working with families with limited resources, have a strong commitment to excellence, and the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations. Responsibilities also include budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring fiscal responsibility across the development team.
