Actuarial Associate

Actuarial AssociateWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Actuarial Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing actuarial models and tools, maintaining documentation and supporting key deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:Create and maintain actuarial models for pricing reinsurance quotes, research projects and/or experience analysis.Peer review actuarial models and results performed by other team members.Perform experience studies under the direction of senior team members.Ensure models meet corporate guidelines and reflect best practices.Create and maintain documentation of pricing and/or research materials, actuarial models and experience studies.Maintain and provide support for US Life tools.Qualifications:You are a highly motivated individual who can work in an open, collaborative environment with a diverse team of financial professionals.No prior experience in life reinsurance or a related field is required.Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related discipline.Working towards an Associate in the Society of Actuaries or equivalent designation.Knowledge of programs such as R, Excel, SQL, Tableau and Python is beneficial.Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities efficiently.PartnerRe provides a working environment in which diversity is valued, where all employees feel welcome, respected, and empowered to perform at their best.
