Wastewater Supervisor

Clean Harbors – Wastewater Treatment Supervisor We are seeking a Wastewater Treatment Supervisor to join our Baton Rouge, LA team. The supervisor will oversee operations and processing of waste at the facility, managing a team of 5-7 employees and contributing to successful waste handling. Pay: $28-34/HR – DOE Schedule: Monday‑Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm; OT and weekends as needed Benefits Health and safety is our #1 priority Competitive wages with weekly overtime opportunities Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full‑time employment Group 401K with company matching component Tuition reimbursement Positive and safe work environments Opportunities for growth and development at all stages of your career Responsibilities Ensure employees follow and maintain all applicable health and safety SOPs Hold employees accountable Understand and own area‑specific permit compliance standards Develop daily production goals for multiple groups and ensure execution Maintain a clean work environment Review all applicable SOPs and receive satisfactory quiz scores Understand and drive Clean Compliance standard Perform site‑specific plant operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, truck offloading/loading per DOT segregation requirements, wastewater treatment, fuel blending, shredder operations, inventory and waste tracking scanning, and proper warehousing requirements Oversee and manage multiple areas and shifts within the facility Supervise and develop multiple operations supervisors, plant foremen, and plant operations Ensure proper waste routing and management according to specified efficiencies Perform all other duties as directed by management Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Wastewater treatment experience preferred or experience in an industrial hazardous waste facility overseeing teams Supervisor experience required Ability to work in a team environment Time management required Computer proficiency required Previous industrial work setting required Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.
