Second Grade Teacher Assistant, St. Joseph/St. Robert, Warrington, PA, Bucks County Elementary May 7 2026 Job Title: Teacher Assistant Job Status: Permanent/Part Time St. Joseph/St. Robert School is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Teacher Assistant to work nineteen hours/week to support our second grade classroom for the upcoming school year. This role is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and wants to be part of a faith-filled, joyful school community. Responsibilities include: Assisting the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities Supporting students during lessons, centers, and transitions Helping maintain a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment Supervising students during lunch, recess, and arrival/dismissal as needed Assisting with classroom preparation, organization, and materials Providing individual or small-group support to students Qualifications: Experience working with young children (school or childcare setting preferred) A patient, positive, and flexible approach to working with students Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to supporting the mission and values of a Catholic school High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in education a plus What We Offer: A supportive and welcoming school community The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners If the position is offered, the candidate will be required to complete the “Protecting God’s Children” training through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
