Job Title Nursing Supervisor Division/Program (Youth Inpatient) Psychiatric Health Facility Compensation USD 120,000 – 135,000 per year. Location Bakersfield, CA. Hours & Shift Schedule includes 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day; core hours are 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Scheduling may be adjusted to support program operations. Conduct performance evaluations, progressive discipline, and terminations as appropriate. Supervise the direct nursing care provided by all nursing staff. Ensure staff compliance with CPR, annual training, ProAct, 5150, and other regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain service objectives, nursing practice standards, nursing policy, and procedure manuals, and written job descriptions for all nursing personnel. Coordinate primary care physician services and local emergency services as needed. Provide nursing care in support of nursing staffing and services. Collaborate with the Clinical Director to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding nursing care, treatment, and patient rights. Ensure accurate, complete, and timely nursing care plans and documentation in the medical record. Coordinate and lead monthly licensed nursing meetings and participate in organized clinical meetings and department head meetings. Participate in the on‑call rotation and provide coverage for direct care and other shifts within licensure/certification. Division/Program Overview 24/7 inpatient involuntary program with a 16‑bed facility for acute youth (ages 5‑17) addressing acute psychiatric symptoms. Intensive treatment programs with individualized care plans. Available for contracting by Central Valley counties. Clients progress through five phases: admission, engagement, learning, stabilization, and linkage to resources and after‑care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
