Responsibilities
- Complete structured wiring rough-ins for luxury residential new construction.
- Install Cat6, speaker wire, coax, fiber, conduit, and low-voltage wiring.
- Perform trim-out installations including TVs, architectural speakers, surveillance cameras, wireless access points, touchscreens, keypads, and equipment racks.
- Read blueprints and wiring documentation.
- Coordinate with builders and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
- Label, test, and document installations.
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and uphold CAV's quality standards.
- Residential AV or low-voltage installation experience.
- Strong rough-in and trim-out skills.
- Experience terminating Cat6, coax, and speaker wiring.
- Ability to read construction plans.
- Professional appearance with excellent attention to detail.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in active construction environments.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
