What You’ll Bring:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar classroom support role
• Background working with students exhibiting behavioral challenges is highly valued
• Ability to remain patient, empathetic, and proactive in a school setting
• Willingness to complete required state trainings before starting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work closely as a 1:1 aide to an 8th-grade student, focusing on both academic and behavioral support
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to implement individual learning strategies
• Foster a safe and positive classroom atmosphere
• Assist with daily routines, instruction, and adaptive needs as required
• Maintain clear documentation and open communication with educational staff

Position Details:

• Contract runs ASAP through June 11
• Consistent hours: 7:30 AM to 2:40 PM, Monday–Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Interview conducted onsite when possible for a chance to meet the team in person
