Operations Administrator

Support operations. Drive accuracy. Make healthcare safer. Daniels Health is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Administrator to support our plant operations team in Taylor, MI. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment and is passionate about organization, compliance, and continuous improvement. We’re on a mission to make healthcare safer. Daniels Health provides reusable medical waste containers designed to reduce need‑stick injuries and support sustainability. After use, we professionally clean and sanitize each container for reuse, while responsibly disposing of medical waste at our treatment facilities. Our closed‑loop system ensures safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility for our customers. What You’ll Do: Maintain and update operational data, including metric boards, audits, and training records Support compliance efforts by updating SDS books and scanning autoclave/washline sheets Assist with vendor onboarding, including insurance and diversity documentation Manage supply orders through Coupa and coordinate off‑site pickups and deliveries Support internal projects, audits, and performance tracking initiatives Assist with travel coordination and general office tasks (lamination, label making, flyers, etc.) Provide backup support to Customer Service during surveys or peak periods Ensure accuracy in container audits, load sheets, and facility documentation Communicate effectively across departments and contribute to a well‑run business unit Must-Have Qualifications: 3+ years of administrative experience High School Diploma or GED Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Detail‑oriented with an analytical mindset Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment Familiarity with compliance documentation and audit processes Background in supporting logistics or plant operations Why You’ll Love Working Here: Industry Leader: Over 20 years of excellence in medical waste management with top‑tier NPS and delivery‑reliability scores 401K Matching: 50% employer match on up to 6% contribution (up to 3% employer contribution), with match starting Day 1, 5 year vesting schedule Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage effective Day 1; paid short‑term disability; company‑sponsored life insurance; and more Job Stability: As an essential healthcare service provider, we’re recession‑proof and non‑seasonal Permanent Role: Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Empowering, visionary culture: We think differently, act boldly, and value authenticity, creativity, and trust.
