Come build it with us.Job DescriptionFreshworks is seeking a Director of Internal Creative & Design Services to lead and scale our in-house creative team. This role owns the strategy, operations, and output of Freshworks' internal creative function — from brand campaigns, to sales enablement, events, and digital experiences — ensuring every creative touchpoint reflects the quality, clarity, and character of the Freshworks brand.You will build and run a modern, AI-assisted creative studio that functions with the speed and accountability of an internal agency, delivering work that moves markets and earns attention.If you're a creative leader who thinks in systems, sweats the craft, and wants to shape how a global SaaS brand looks and feels at every touchpoint, you'll feel right at home.Responsibilities:Own and operate Freshworks' internal creative studio as a center of excellence, serving brand, demand generation, product marketing, sales, and regional teamsDefine and evolve the visual and creative expression of the Freshworks brand, ensuring consistency and quality across all formats and channelsLead creative development across deliverables — campaigns, digital and social assets, presentations, event materials, video, motion graphics, and sales collateralBuild scalable creative operations: intake workflows, briefing processes, project management systems, and quality review frameworks that allow the studio to run with agency-level disciplinePartner closely with teams across marketing to ensure creative work brings the Freshworks narrative to life with precision and impactDrive adoption of AI-assisted design tools to accelerate production, expand creative capacity, and enable rapid iteration without sacrificing craftEstablish and maintain a design system and asset library that empowers internal teams to produce on-brand work independentlyDefine and track creative performance metrics — asset utilization, production velocity, stakeholder satisfaction, and downstream impact on campaign performanceBuild, lead, and grow a team of designers, art directors, motion artists, and creative producersQualifications10+ years of experience in creative direction, brand design, or in-house studio leadership, with at least 3 years managing multidisciplinary creative teamsA strong portfolio demonstrating brand-building work across digital, campaign, and product marketing contextsDeep understanding of visual design, art direction, motion, and how great creative drives business outcomesStrong background in B2B SaaS or technology marketing, with the ability to make complex products feel clear and compellingProven ability to build and scale an in-house creative function, including operations, process, and team structureFluency in the modern design toolchain: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and emerging AI-assisted design and production toolsAbility to balance creative vision with operational rigor — knowing when to push the work and when to ship itExperience partnering cross-functionally with brand, content, product marketing, sales, and executive communicationsExcellent communication and executive presence; able to present creative strategy and rationale to senior leadership with clarity and confidenceAdditional InformationWe're committed to building a workplace that reflects the diverse world we serve. The annual base salary range for this position is $215,000 - $265,000 Base Salary. Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level.
