National Merchandising Team Lead - Phoenix, AZ

Overview As the National Merchandising Team Lead at LEGO® the role is a part‑time position that leads in‑store merchandising, training, and performance coaching for a field of merchandisers across the U.S. The lead works closely with the Field Manager to translate national strategy into action across over 6,000 Target and Walmart stores. Responsibilities Deliver clear and motivating guidance to merchandisers, ensuring alignment on weekly goals. Lead dynamic in‑store training sessions, equipping field merchandisers with strong retail execution and product placement skills. Oversee the daily development of merchandisers within the assigned region, providing targeted mentoring and coaching to drive consumer engagement and maximize sales. Analyze execution and compliance using reporting tools, providing targeted coaching that elevates team and store performance. Share insights and best practices to optimize merchandising strategies and resources for maximum impact. Build relationships with retailers and internal stakeholders to achieve sales objectives and strengthen LEGO® presence. Collect and share field intelligence, collaborating with peers to deliver powerful regional and national updates that drive success. Foster a culture of support by addressing day‑to‑day inquiries from merchandisers and ensuring a positive and productive working environment. Qualifications Retail and merchandising experience preferred. Must live within 30 miles of Phoenix, AZ. Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication. Prior leadership roles and strong leadership skills. Results oriented, detail oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and time. Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships. Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs. Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner. Local weekly travel within territory, may require some overnights varies by territory. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and climb a ladder up to 12 feet. Own vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance, a good DMV record to drive from store to store. Comfortable with utilizing new tools and technology and willing to troubleshoot for a solution. Takes initiative, recognizes, and acts on opportunities. Thrives and contributes best in a team setting. Works well in a fast paced, agile way. Embraces challenges and driven by problem solving. Open to a feedback culture & sees feedback as an important part of developing oneself and the team. Compensation Hourly rate: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour.
