As an unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, policy concerns, and maintenance-related hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, timely reports documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
