Medical AssistantA Medical Assistant resident with no prior medical assistant experience learns to work as a medical assistant in a clinical setting. Medical Assistant – Residents are learning from clinicians, nurses, and medical assistants while on the job. Medical Assistant – Residents have accountability for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs.
