Job Description & Requirements/n /n - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care /n - Discipline: RN /n - Start Date: 08/17/2026 /n - Duration: 13 weeks /n - 40 hours per week /n - Shift: 8 hours, days /n - Employment Type: Travel /n /n /n Registered Nurse – PACU | Days | Petaluma, CA | 13 Weeks /n Start Date: 05/18/2026 /n Shift: Day 5x8 (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM) /n Schedule: 40 hours/week /n Duration: 13 weeks /n Pay: $2781 weekly /n Role Overview /n Seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity post-anesthesia care across a diverse surgical population. This role involves managing patients through Phase I and Phase II recovery with strong emphasis on airway management, sedation recovery, and safe discharge readiness. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n - Provide Phase I and Phase II PACU recovery care /n - Monitor post-anesthesia patients and manage airway stability /n - Administer and monitor procedural sedation and reversal agents /n - Manage pain control, sedation levels, and hemodynamic stability /n - Perform pre-op and post-op assessments and education /n - Support recovery for a wide range of surgical specialties /n - Float to Pre-Op, Phase I, and Phase II recovery areas as needed /n - Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR /n /n Required Skills & Experience /n /n - Minimum 1 year PACU experience (ICU or ED experience preferred) /n - Strong airway management and critical care skillset /n - Experience with IV therapy, sedation, and emergency medications /n - Ability to manage post-op recovery across multiple specialties /n - Strong assessment and critical thinking skills /n /n Required Certifications /n /n - Active AHA BLS /n - Active AHA ACLS /n - Active AHA PALS /n /n Unit Details /n /n - Float required to Pre-Op and Phase I/II recovery /n - Every other weekend required /n /n /n • Medical & Health Insurance Benefits from First Day for All Clinical and Patient-Facing Employees. • 401K Plan. •"Your Way is Paid" – we pay for ALL employment requirements, onboarding, physicals, titers, etc. • $300 - $1000 referral bonus.
