Job Title

Travel RN – Med-Surg Float Pool (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Med-Surg float pool units within a large academic medical center
• Float to various units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care throughout the night shift
• Adhere to facility dress code: Navy Blue Scrubs Required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital (competency testing required at time of submission if fewer than 2 years of experience)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience (no competency testing required)
• Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission if applicable; sent to candidate's email on file — please ensure email address is current at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
• Experience working in a high-acuity academic or teaching hospital environment
• Strong adaptability and ability to quickly orient to new unit environments
