We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The Dental Assistant will support the dentist during patient procedures, ensure a smooth workflow in the office, and help with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Pay

Job Description

- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as prescribed by the dentist.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Prepare patients for dental treatments by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
- Assist in managing patient records and ensuring accurate documentation of treatments and procedures.
- Provide post-procedure instructions to patients and ensure follow-up care.
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, filing patient records, and answering phone calls.
- Order dental supplies and ensure inventory is maintained.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, brushing techniques, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist with patient billing and insurance claims when necessary.
