2nd shift-5:00pm-3:30am

Pay: The hourly pay rate for this position is $24.64 + shift differential and benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to North Platte and may not be applicable to other locations.

What your day in this role might involve at OC NORTH PLATTE:

• Get correct stile and rail carts to line
• Perform first piece checks
• Feed materials through glue spreader per the production schedule
• This position requires high attention to detail
• All other assigned duties

What makes a successful OC LAYUP team member:

Must haves include…

• High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 Years Old
• Experience with:
  • Must be able to read and interpret production tickets
  • Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills
  • Work safely and follow all plant rules
  • Show initiative, be a self-starter
  • Communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility

Would be terrific if you also had…

• Preferably one year experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with
  • Think under pressure, make quick and strategic decisions

  • Communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner
  • Operate a computer and Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

There are some essential physical requirements specific to our work environment, including being able to:

• Stand for 10 - 12 hours straight
• Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed for the role
• Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 40-pounds)
• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
• Handle, control and feel raw materials and finished goods
