This role will focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable data architectures that support aircraft maintenance, logistics, performance analytics, and mission readiness initiatives.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing modern data solutions, developing data pipelines, and supporting enterprise analytics environments within cloud-based ecosystems.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable data architectures and data modelsDevelop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines supporting analytics and reporting initiativesBuild and maintain cloud-based data platforms and warehousing solutionsSupport data integration across multiple structured and unstructured data sourcesCollaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to support machine learning and analytics initiativesImplement data governance, security, and quality standardsMonitor and optimize database performance, scalability, and reliabilitySupport modernization efforts and migration of legacy data environmentsRequired QualificationsU.S. Citizenship requiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Data Science, or related fieldActive security clearance or ability to obtain one3+ years of experience in data architecture with demonstrated ownership of enterprise data warehouse design.Strong experience with: PythonSQLPandasPySparkNumPyGitExperience with data warehousing technologies such as: DatabricksRedshiftBigQueryApache HiveExperience developing and automating large-scale data environmentsFamiliarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn is a plusPreferred QualificationsExperience designing conceptual, logical, and physical data modelsExperience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCPKnowledge of modern data lake and data warehouse architecturesExperience with Apache Kafka, Airflow, Spark, NiFi, or similar technologiesUnderstanding of big data ecosystems and distributed computing frameworksExperience supporting AI/ML workflows and analytics platformsKnowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practicesExperience with CI/CD pipelines and software development best practicesExperience supporting defense, aviation, aerospace, or mission-critical programs preferredBenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan with matchingPaid Time OffPaid Federal Holidays$130,000 - $150,000 a year A salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.SteerBridge is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
