Staff Accountant

Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite Compensation: up to 32/hr DOE Location: Santa Ana, CA Position Overview Staff Accountant/QB Online required Growing organization is seeking a motivated accounting professional to support daily financial operations and assist with month-end reporting activities. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with various teams across the organization. Responsibilities Maintain financial records and support general accounting functions Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies Process invoices, payments, and vendor-related transactions Assist with payroll administration and reporting Support financial statement preparation and analysis Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls Provide support during audits and special projects Recommend and implement process improvements where applicable Qualifications Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field 3+ years of accounting experience in a professional setting QB Online Experience required Knowledge of general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial reporting Familiarity with payroll and accounts payable processes Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
