SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining utility scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects nationwide.Job Description Summary:The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering a seamless candidate experience by coordinating interviews, managing pre-employment requirements, and supporting Talent Acquisition operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for candidates, hiring teams, and Talent Acquisition Partners, ensuring timely communication and accurate data entry. The coordinator collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to support hiring and onboarding while maintaining strict confidentiality and exceptional attention to detail. Success in this position requires strong communication and organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.This role is hybrid, with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.Job Description:This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assignedPosition Responsibilities and Duties:Serve as a trusted point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and Talent Acquisition Partners by providing timely communication, professional support, and regular updates throughout the pre-employment processCoordinate and schedule virtual and in person interviews across multiple time zones ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teamsMaintain and ensure the accuracy of applicant tracking systems (ATS), pre-onboarding documentation, trackers, and other recruiting toolsInitiate and monitor pre-employment screenings to ensure timely completion and compliance with hiring requirementsCollaborate with internal teams to support a smooth and well-coordinated onboarding experience for new hiresManage travel arrangements (flights, lodging, and ground transportation) for candidates attending in-person interviews and new hires participating in orientationMaintain ongoing communication with external vendors to support Talent Acquisition programs and initiativesReview and verify I-9 documentation in person, ensuring compliance with employment eligibility requirementsSubmit new position requests for review and approval, ensuring timely processing and alignment with organizational proceduresPost and maintain open positions both internally and externally, updating postings as hiring needs evolvePrepare and submit monthly expense reports, ensuring accurate and compliant expense reporting and trackingChampion Talent Acquisition workflows and processes, providing guidance and support to internals teams and candidatesMonitor shared Talent Acquisition inbox, responding and directing requests to appropriate internal teamsPerform additional duties and special projects as assignedMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or 1+ experience as a recruiting coordinator or similar role requiredKnowledge of employment documentation requirements, including I-9 verification processes, preferredAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalismFamiliarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment processesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems; Workday experience preferredComfortable managing a high volume of emails and phone callsExceptional accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and professionally with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships across all levels of the organizationAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentAdaptability and flexibility to respond to changing business needs and shifting prioritiesApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.SOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
