EEG Technician

EEG Tech - Mayfield, KYWe are seeking a skilled and EEG Technologist to perform a variety of specialized diagnostic procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in neurodiagnostic or cardiopulmonary testing and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality, age-appropriate care to all patients. This role may also include responsibilities for in-service education and orientation of new staff as assigned.Key Responsibilities:Perform a range of neurological and cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures according to approved protocols and physician orders.Review and assess clinical data to evaluate the appropriateness and medical necessity of ordered tests.Set up, calibrate, and verify diagnostic equipment prior to patient procedures.Conduct and modify testing procedures as required, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred.Graduate of an approved Electro neurodiagnostic Program or AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program preferred.Alternatively, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience performing EEG testing.Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG T.) by ABRETRDCS by ARDMS, or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist by the National Board of Cardiovascular TechnologyBLS Certification (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)One year of diagnostic testing experience preferred.Experience in EEG and/or cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing strongly desired.All standard benefits are provided.
