Position Overview Your Role:
In this advanced technical role within the allied imaging field, you will work alongside a diverse team to deliver top-notch imaging services, including ultrasound, CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The main focus of the MRI Technologist role is to conduct routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging. Additionally, you will perform venipuncture as necessary and support Radiologists and Radiology nurses during sedation procedures.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Active certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI or ARMRIT
- Certification from the Texas Department of State Health
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- If holding ARRT (R), you must obtain ARRT (MR) certification within one year of finishing orientation

Our organization is a 314-bed, comprehensive acute care teaching hospital serving the communities of Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Lancaster, and Glen Heights in southwestern Dallas County. We have recently expanded our emergency department by 40,000 square feet and offer a newly renovated intensive care unit, labor and delivery unit, and interventional radiology suite. Our facility includes a Level III Trauma Center, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and the Dr. Stephen and Marilyn Mansfield Oncology Unit. We have received recognition for excellence in various medical fields, including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, open heart surgery, STEMI care, stroke care, and joint replacement services.
