Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time faculty (day, evening and weekend) positions for a Biology adjunct. Adjunct Faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed. Responsibilities include teaching college level courses, which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening and weekends. This position will be located on the Middletown Campus, Fauquier Campus, and Luray-Page County Center as needed. Please note: applicants must reside in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland or DC. All applicants must include unofficial transcripts at time of application. If any candidate with degrees awarded outside of the United States, please include unofficial evaluations for these foreign transcripts with your application. Should you be selected for hire, faculty who hold one or more degrees are required to submit official transcripts of all degrees, including official evaluations for any foreign transcripts to the Office of Human Resource Management. Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty listings are on a continuous, open until filled basis. Applicants will be contacted on an as needed basis. Submission of on-line application must also include unofficial transcripts of all college work completed (cover letters and resumes are optional, but recommended). Compensation and Benefits: The credit hour pay range is $794.00-$1,375.50. The position is part time and as such is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies.
